Description

This is the 3rd model of Clarity phone that I've bought for my wife in 20 years. Seems the quality is not as good as the older ones were. Sound quality is like a drive in window speaker. Tried all recommendations in manual, but nothing seems to work. Bought a base and three additional handsets for quite a bit of money, don't feel that I got my money's worth.

I purchased this phone for my Mom.It was kind of hard to set the tone and volume for her due to the line noise being amplified as well but we have it in tune now and it is doing a fine job.Our phone network is upgrading to fiber soon so hopefully line noise will no longer be an issue.

I purchased the Clarity XLC3.4 a month or so ago, and I am enjoying being able to hear most of my friends' conversations. I am still learning the features of the telephone...as a matter of fact, just a couple of days ago, I learned that the volume could be increased when the "auto boost" was turned on in the Menu setup.
However, I still have difficulty understanding some voices even though I have adjusted the tone control. Some voices are not as distinct as I'd like. Otherwise, I would have given the Clarity a #5 rating.
